Gilded Slate Manor Damask

Elevate your space with a timeless damask rendered in a sophisticated slate palette with a gilded-inspired touch. Gilded Slate Manor Damask is a removable wallpaper designed for effortless style and easy updates—perfect for renters, refreshes, and refined homes.

Key Features

  • Removable, self-adhesive design for clean updates without damage to most painted walls
  • Classic damask pattern for a luxe, manor-house feel
  • Each roll is 24 inches wide and available in heights up to 120 inches
  • PVC-free substrate printed with eco-friendly, water-based inks
  • Low-odor, matte finish that photographs beautifully and reduces glare
  • Repositionable during installation for precise pattern alignment

Sizing and Coverage

Select a roll height equal to or slightly longer than your wall height (up to 120 inches), then trim excess after install. Order enough 24-inch-wide rolls to span your wall’s width.

  • Measure wall width in inches and divide by 24 to estimate the number of rolls needed
  • Add a small margin for trimming and pattern alignment

Installation Guidance

  1. Prepare the surface: walls should be smooth, clean, dry, and fully cured (paint cured for at least 30 days).
  2. Plan your layout: mark a plumb line to start straight; install left to right.
  3. Peel and stick: peel 6–12 inches of backing, align to your plumb line, and smooth upward and outward.
  4. Continue slowly: work in sections, removing backing as you go. Butt seams edge-to-edge to match the pattern.
  5. Smooth and trim: use a felt squeegee or soft cloth to remove bubbles; trim top and bottom with a sharp blade.
  6. Adjust as needed: gently lift and reposition during install for perfect alignment.

Care Instructions

  • Wipe gently with a soft, damp cloth; use mild soap if needed
  • Avoid abrasive pads, bleach, or solvent cleaners
  • Test cleaning in an inconspicuous area first

Good to Know

  • Best on smooth, primed, eggshell or satin walls; not recommended on textured surfaces or unpainted drywall
  • For bathrooms and kitchens, ensure low to moderate humidity and avoid direct, frequent splashes
  • To remove, peel slowly at a low angle; apply gentle heat if needed to release
  • Color may vary slightly from screen to wall due to monitor settings and lighting
